Depending on their purpose, they can be:

They are used to allow the user to navigate through the Web page or application and are necessary to strictly provide a service requested by the user, such as input cookies from user, authentication or user identification (session only), user security cookies, media player session cookies, load balancing session cookies, user interface customization, certain plug-in cookies to exchange social content etc.

Preference or customization cookies. They are used to store service configurations so as not to having to reconfigure each time the website is visited.

Analysis or measurement cookies. They are used to monitor and analyze user behavior of the websites to which they are linked, including the quantification of the impacts of the advertisements. The information collected through this type of cookies is used to measure the activity of websites, application or platform, in order to introduce improvements based on the analysis of the usage data they make service users.

Behavioral advertising cookies. They are those that store information about the behavior of the users obtained through the continuous observation of their browsing habits, which allows develop a specific profile to display advertising based on it.

Cristina Figuerola

People & Culture

Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Rovira i Virgili University, she is a People & Culture professional with experience in talent acquisition, employee development, and organizational culture. After several years in HR consulting, partnering with companies to attract and develop talent, she joined Methanol Reformer to help build and strengthen its people strategy.

Her role spans the entire employee lifecycle, from talent acquisition and onboarding to performance management, learning and development, and people operations. She also contributes to internal communication initiatives and the development of a collaborative culture aligned with the company’s mission and values.

Passionate about creating positive employee experiences, she believes that people are at the heart of every successful organization and is committed to fostering an environment where individuals and teams can thrive while supporting the company’s sustainable growth.

Javier Torres

Managing Director

Industrial and Chemical Engineer with more than 20 years of experience across different sectors, with a main focus on the automotive industry. Javier brings extensive experience in understanding industrial environments and supporting business development through a combination of technical knowledge and strategic vision. 

He defines and drives strategies across operations, growth, marketing, product, and sales, aligning different areas of the business to achieve short-, medium-, and long-term objectives. His approach focuses on establishing clear priorities and building the foundations needed to reach 3-, 5-, and 10-year targets.

With a strong financial background at companies such as Air Products, Linde, and Ramboll, and 9 years of experience in startup environments including Worldsensing and Submer, Ignacio brings valuable expertise in financial management, strategic planning, and operational support. Throughout his career, he has developed a strong understanding of financial processes and business operations, combining analytical capabilities with a practical approach to problem-solving. 

He provides strategic guidance and supports decision-making by delivering thoughtful, results-oriented solutions aligned with business objectives. His experience across both established industrial companies and dynamic startup environments enables him to contribute with a versatile perspective, supporting operational efficiency and sustainable business growth. 

Sonia Netto

Marketing & Communication

Sonia Netto is the Marketing & Communication Lead at Methanol Reformer, where she is responsible for developing and executing the company’s marketing and communication strategy. Since joining the company in October 2024, she has been focused on strengthening the brand’s positioning and increasing its visibility within the green hydrogen and clean energy sectors.

She works across corporate communications, digital marketing, content creation and event management, ensuring that the company’s technology and value proposition are communicated in a clear, consistent and engaging way. By working closely with technical and business teams, she translates complex engineering concepts into accessible messages for customers, partners, investors and industry stakeholders.

Her role also includes supporting business development through marketing initiatives, coordinating the company’s presence at international trade fairs and conferences, managing corporate communication materials and helping build relationships across the hydrogen ecosystem.

With a background in strategic marketing and B2B communication, she combines creativity with a practical, results-oriented approach. She is particularly interested in helping innovative technologies reach the market through effective communication, strong branding and meaningful engagement with the industry.

Mechanical Engineer with 15 years of experience in testing departments focused on automotive products, demonstrating consistent professional growth and development within the same organization. He has built solid expertise in testing processes and product validation, contributing to the improvement and reliability of automotive solutions. With 9 years of international experience and 5 years of proven team management expertise, he combines technical knowledge with coordination and leadership capabilities in demanding industrial environments.

Bernat Bagan

Service & Commissioning Lead

Bernat Bagan has been serving as Service & Commissioning Lead at Methanol Reformer since January 2025. He is responsible for the organization and consolidation of the Service & Commissioning department, leading equipment commissioning and on-site technical support activities to ensure product reliability and build customer confidence in both the technology and the team behind it.

He brings solid experience in technical office environments and demanding industrial settings, having worked across the pharmaceutical, industrial, and mobility sectors. His profile stands out for extensive expertise in industrial equipment management and maintenance systems, as well as commissioning processes and the integration of methanol reforming-based solutions.

Bernat specializes in resolving critical incidents, unplanned shutdowns, and high-pressure operational situations, delivering professional, efficient, and service-oriented technical support focused on ensuring operational continuity. His versatile approach enables him to contribute both in the field and in technical coordination roles, making him a key operational reference within the organization.

He has played a direct role in commissioning the first units installed in the field and has participated in technical support and commissioning activities internationally, including projects in Norway, the United States, and the Netherlands, as well as across Spain.

He complements his hands-on experience with multidisciplinary training in industrial design, industrial programming, and electromechanical maintenance, providing him with a comprehensive understanding of the product lifecycle – from design to operation and after-sales service. He actively contributes to technical documentation and maintains direct communication with customers throughout commissioning and support phases.

Andrés Ricca

Procurement Lead

Andrés Ricca is the Procurement Lead from Methanol Reformer. He specialises in strategic sourcing, supplier development and end-to-end supply chain management across industrial and renewable energy environments.
His expertise lies in building high-performance supplier networks, driving cost efficiency and ensuring supply continuity in complex, fast-moving operations.

With hands-on experience managing both direct and indirect procurement – and a sharp eye for negotiation – Andrés consistently turns supply chain challenges into competitive advantages.

With a career spanning multinational corporations, and high-growth start-ups across Europe and Latin America, he brings a rare combination of strategic vision and operational precision. His command of international trade and cross-functional collaboration makes him the kind of professional who doesn’t just keep the machine running – he makes it run better.

Andrés leads procurement operations for an innovative methanol reformer technology, managing a global supplier base and ensuring that the right materials reach the right place at the right time – so that the energy transition doesn’t just happen on paper, but in the real world.

Thibaud Vincendon​

Thibaud Vincendon is the Business Development Director of Methanol Reformer and one of the leading experts in green hydrogen in Europe. He has over 16 years of experience in the energy sector, particularly in green energy (Oil&Gas, Liquefied Natural Gas, green hydrogen, Green methanol). 

Thibaud is a member of the Spanish Hydrogen Association (AeH2) and has worked as an energy and green hydrogen expert for several companies, both in and outside Spain, including ENGIE, Neptune Energy, Hydrogen Refueling Solutions, OX2, H2B2, and AGERE. 

Additionally, he is an alumnus and board member of the Energy and Environment Club at Esade (Spain) and the IÉSEG for Change Club at IÉSEG School of Management (France). He is also responsible for supervising master’s theses at the University of Burgos and the University of Barcelona. 

He speaks French, English and Spanish.
